Parallel Distributed Compensation for Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy Models: New Stability Conditions and Dynamic Feedback Designs
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper discusses the synthesis of compensators for plants which can be represented using a Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model. The resulting compensator designs, called PDC controllers, are parameter dependent and mirror the structure of the T-S plant model. This paper extends the existing work on state feedback PDC controllers by introducing the notion of a dynamic PDC controller. The paper contains three new results. The rst result provides a more relaxed version of previously stated conditions which are suucient for the existence of a quadratically stabilizing state feedback PDC controller. The second result provides analogous conditions which are suucient for the existence of a quadratically stabilizing dynamic PDC controller. The third result talks about the performance-oriented controller synthesis for T-S fuzzy model.

Dynamic parallel distributed compensation for Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems: An LMI approach
This paper presents a uniied systematic framework for designing dynamic feedback controllers for nonlinear systems described by Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) models. Both stabilization and multi-objective control synthesis problems have been addressed. The control laws are in the form of so-called dynamic parallel distributed compensation (DPDC) which are essentially nonlinear dynamic feedback controller...
متن کاملParallel Distributed Compensation for Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy Models: Multiobjective Controller Design
This paper discusses multi-objective controller synthesis for the fuzzy T-S (Takagi-Sugeno) model. Various performance specifications are included. Both the state-feedback controller and the dynamic feedback controller are presented. They are in the format of a PDC (parallel distributed compensation) controller which is essentially a nonlinear controller. The controller synthesis is formulated ...
متن کاملFuzzy regulators and fuzzy observers: relaxed stability conditions and LMI-based designs
This paper presents new relaxed stability conditions and LMI(linear matrix inequality) based designs for both continuous and discrete fuzzy control systems. They are applied to design problems of fuzzy regulators and fuzzy observers. First, Takagi and Sugeno’s fuzzy models and some stability results are recalled. To design fuzzy regulators and fuzzy observers, nonlinear systems are represented ...
متن کاملState and output feedback control for Takagi–Sugeno systems with saturated actuators
In the present paper, a Takagi–Sugeno (TS) model is used to simultaneously represent the behaviour of a nonlinear system and its saturated actuators. With the TS formalism and the Lyapunov approach, stabilization conditions are expressed as linear matrix inequalities for different controller designs. Static parallel distributed compensation (PDC) state feedback and static and dynamic PDC output...
متن کاملL 2 Gain Control of Takagi-sugeno Fuzzy Models
This paper presents L 2 gain controller synthesis for the fuzzy T-S model (Takagi-Sugeno). Both the state-feedback controller and the output feedback controller are discussed. They are in the format of PDC (parallel distributed compensation) controller which is essentially a nonlinear controller. Based on the bounded-real lemma, the synthesis procedure is expressed in LMI conditions which can b...
